Wedding Story Contest!

Submit a story about you as a wedding couple and win free wedding photography!

Contest Rules:

The contest will run from September 22^th, 2010 until October 31^st, 2010. To enter the contest, submit a true story about you as a couple. The story can be any length. The story can be happy, sad, funny or romantic, as long it is a true story about the wedding couple. 

The Judges will be me and my wife. Stories will be judged on clarity and content. Please include your full name, phone number and email address with the story. Only one story per person please. One winner will be chosen and contacted in November 2010. The prize is your wedding day photographed by me, Lance Shuey, with a maximum of 8 hours of coverage, a cd of the wedding images and a gallery on my website.

Sejla and Damir

Images from shooting my 2nd Bosnian wedding. Quite simply, I loved it. I had no idea what some of the people were saying 80% of the time but it didn't really matter. There was such love and joy that just smiling at someone was enough to get a great reaction. It's events like these that really speak to the photojournalist in me. I am a graduate of the University of Iowa's Journalism department and happy photo assignments like a wedding are a treat. I love having new experiences and thank you Sejla and Damir for having me join you on your special day!
